NEBOSH signs new contract for Affiliate

The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) has signed a new contract with RedSky IT for the provision of its professional education solution Affiliate.

NEBOSH has established itself as the leading international examination board in occupational safety and health. Around 16,000 people every year – managers, supervisors, specialists and health and safety practitioners – study for a NEBOSH award at one of 400 accredited centres. NEBOSH’s qualifications provide evidence of real achievement for students and are the standard against which other qualifications are compared.

Following a comprehensive procurement process, NEBOSH chose Affiliate as its new professional education solution as Affiliate scored better than other similar systems on the market. NEBOSH was also impressed by RedSky IT’s in-depth knowledge in the awarding bodies sector.

The new Affiliate solution includes functionality for contact management, event management and education management, including course providers, student relationships, programmes and certificates. RedSky IT will also deploy an interface to NEBOSH’s existing accounting system and a 3rd party-reporting tool from Business Objects for extracting data from the Affiliate database. Forming part of the Affiliate solution will also be an extranet service that will enable NEBOSH to provide online services to its students and course providers through its existing website, but with a separate and secure login.
